    Hi im going to new your soon i was i wont be able to get an iphone over there at all !
    I have an american citizen who im meeting over their who can get it for me but is their any extra charges or anything i need to know is all i have to pay 299 dollars for a 32g iphone 3gs and then bring it back and jailbreak it in ireland


    Can Some One please help me ??:confused::confused::confused:

    Is their anything else i ned to know about getting one???

    Your american friend will have to sign an expensive 2 year contract with AT&T to be able to buy the iPhone. You can not officially buy the iPhone without a contract in the US.

    So their is no way i can go and get an iphone in america without doing that????

    I think you can buy them as a gift from apple stores but you have to pay about 700 dollers I think. it's in small print on apple store.
