I can still hear the mechanism working inside just wondering if people have had this problem I know it's a long shot. It doesn't fall out if I turn the laptop on the side but it's not locked in. What do you think is wrong? or are they not that strong

I got the 13" model. It to has the remote on the side. No real problems with it. The internal mechanism must be gone. I've never heard of others having a problem either.

Not really worth getting fixed unless ya use the remote alot.
