Hi, if a company brings another business to court for a sum of 400 euro will it be in the small claims court or a higher one, Ive read somewhere that the small claims court will only deal with consumer issues.

    thanks in advance

District Court has jurisdiction from 0-€6,350.

The small claims court is the district court operating under the small claims procedure, but can only be used by consumers in consumer contracts where the claim is less then 2,000.

€400 is a District Court level sum. The small claims court does not deal with business disputes. It is unlikely that the costs of bringing the case in the District Court would justify bringing the case.
