    Hi there,

Looking at moving up here. Anyone any knowledge about the tv / internet available? Had a quick look at upc there but their site says broadband is not available in ashbourne. We were hoping to get a tv / internet como from them as we woulndt watch much tv anyway and need the internet for work. All the other options seem to be a bit expensive.

Would O2 or vodafone mobile broadband be a good option in this area? If anyone could advise that would be great. As i said, need something strong enough to send off work stuff every evening.

    Thanks guys.

Broadband is available in Ashbourne. Your best bet is to ring them because as great as the internet is, people get lazy and don't update their websites sometimes.

You say you don't watch much t.v. You should consider Free to Air Satellite television:

    BBC 1,2,3,4,
    ITV 1,2,3,4
    C.4
    C.5
    Film 4
    SKY News
    CNN
    ZONE Reality etc.

and more (including music channels and childrens channels) are all free. You will not be paying any subscription for this. All you need is a satellite dish and a reciever.

DON'T GO GIVING MONEY TO SKY, NTL, CORUS etc. IF ALL YOU WANT ARE THESE CHANNELS
