There are more but I cant find them... A lot are scams to be fair but you have nothing to lose by checking them out and giving them your best at the interview stage. You should get a good impression of what it is pretty fast

Well Roar Promotions is door to door and commission based, but they don't tell you until you have got the job, I think Dark Rose is the same, they meet up in the Red Cow every two weeks!

Don't know about the others, I'd say they are all the same! There is a place called Protea Direct who are always advertiseing on jobs.ie, they don't sound like the other companies, but they are always looking for loads of people, however they are based in Capel Street above a Polish supermarket, so obviously they are door to door as the place looks too small to have loads of people working in it.

If you choose to work for free you're not being scammed.

There are many different types of sales jobs. Some are commission only, some pay a basic salary + good commission, some pay a good salary + small commission, etc.

When you apply for the job just ask is it commission only or is there a basic salary.

If they are the 100% commision companies I worked for one before for over a year - but I was in the office and answered an advert for admin work! My job was not commision, I got paid weekly, but I hated it! I had to try and persuade people to come in for interviews, then interview them and was trained to avoid any words like commision or pyramid scheme! Every month or two they had big rallies in the UK, my flights etc were paid for but all the sales people (?) had to save and pay for their own flights! They all had to register as self employed too! Its funny cos at the rallies they were so motivational I would have nearly did door to door myself - some of the top boys have made millions!! All part of a group called the Cobra Group - set up by two guys in Oz if I remember correctly! Smart business men at the top raking in the money! Thankfully the company closed down so I was able to leave....;)
