Can't get out of my head

Can't really think of a good way of wording this. I think negatively about everything, I can't seem to find anything positive about myself or anything in general. It's effecting everything, I can't talk to anyone because I feel that I'd have nothing to say or they wouldn't be interested anyway. I feel like I can't talk to anyone anyway because I get really self conscious and anxious, so I just tend to blank everyone. So I was just wondering is there any way that I can overcome this, I know that I can't close myself off from everyone forever but I don't know what I can do

Go to your GP mate. If it is affecting everything in your life aws you say it's not right and there is something wrong!

Like the above poster I would advise going to your gp or a counsellor.

It would be easy to say just be more positive or confident etc but most times there are alot more underlying reasons why we sometimes feel like you do. Because of this I dont think anyone here could really help you without giving just generic advice. You need someone to help you understand the underlying reasons which is why something like a counsellor would be good.

I know this from personal experience because I used to feel very similar to you and through the help of counselling I now feel alot better so it does help.

Or if you ever feel like things are just getting too much someday dont be afraid to use some of the services like the samaritans etc. Just talking like that will help.

Best of luck and I hope you feel better soon
