    This one may be of interest. I ran in it last year and enjoyed it very much. Nice and flat. Well organized and there was a great spread of food afterwards. A video of the race (with commentry !) was shown before the presentations. I would say nearly every runner got a mention. They also handed out a printed copy of the results to whoever wanted them

    I'll be doing it again this year.

    Do you know whats the story with registering? - just turn up on the day I'm presuming

    That's what it was last year. Turn up on the day and register. There may take postal entries but I'm not sure. There is contact info on the site.

    Did this race Sunday
    Found it to be very well organinsed and great value

    € 10 entry fee got you:
    Jones counter measured distance
    Goody bag with; banana, lucozade sport, apple, crisps, yorkie, yogurt
    Very well attended finish line with loud speaker calling you home
    Video of race shown in function room after
    Printed results for all to take home if wanted
    Unlimited sandwhiches, cakes, buns, tarts, biscuits & tea afterwards
    Great atmosphere

    Brilliant day, great value, I'll definitely be back to this one

    Did the run myself.

    Agree with everything you said. It's my second year doing it and I'll be back again next year. They were blessed with the weather as well.

    It's one of these races that is run by runners for runners. Unfortunetly these races don't get the same numbers as the promoter ogranized races.

    The numbers grew from last year and hopefully it will continue to grow.
