Anyone who missed last nights episode (Wednesday) on TG4 should tune in next week. Set around a week at the Galway races. Irish comedy starring Don Wycherly (Batchelors Walk) as a government minister.
Punchlines are standard but a lot of fun. Will cheer you up no end.

It's called Rasai na Gaillimhe, by the way, that's with fadas on the first a and the i in Rasai. I can't get fadas at the moment for some reason.

It was good... a lot of familiar faces in there. Looking forward to the next episode.

The first episode should be found at www.tg4.tv for anyone who missed it.

Did Ruth Bradley play the nun in Father Ted. The one with sweet tooth who did "Lentern" courses!

Something about her last night reminded me about the nun in Father Ted. But yeah Bradley very good as the Female guard.

For anyone who missed the first episode of Rásaí na Gaillimhe it's repeated Saturday night at 21:25, Looks like TG4 had a decent budget for it, shame they didn't keep a little for promotion! Decent cast also I thought, looking forward to new episode on Wednesday now.

Yes will be tuning into second episode. Don Wycherly does annoy me a bit with all those voice overs on the ads but he is great in this.

Yeah, he really does have a smooth voice the Ad people go mad for!

Yes second episode was good but not as high in quality as first. Still who knows the minister and his police minder make a good team I think.

Episode three last night. Some terrific gags. Cracks me up everytime when the heavily backed horse messes up at the final furlong.
Don Wycherly is very good in this.

Repeated on Saturday... think it should be up on tg4.tv though.

3rd episode was brilliant as well. Hope they release this on dvd, because I really like it.
