A little help with an actor I'm trying to find the name of.

Ok, it's really been WRECKING my head. It's one of those actors you'd know his face but no clue of his name. i've spent hours on imdb searching around for this actor. He's in his late 40's / early 50's tall, strawberry blonde hair, ususally cast as a father or principal type figure. I can picture him getting irate with kids, wearing a suit generally. Generally in comedy films and tv. Some of the sort of stuff you would EXPECT to find him in (but he's not in) Mrs. Doubtfire, Ferris Bulers day off (he really reminds me of the principal in that http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000470/ ) that sort of actor. Anyway, anyone that could help would really appreciate it. I'll explain the crap reason for asking this if I find the answer. Look at it like a sort of game...

is it lewis black who was in the film accepted in 2006. he plays the pretend deane at the fake highschool go to imdb.com and check out the film. no pic of him up but click on his name then gives you a few pics.

if it aint the guy i first thought it was this guy looks more like the description you give his name is Ed Begley Jr. He was in pineapple express. go to imdb.com.

On the slightly tangential topic, did you know Bruno Kirby is dead?

He died in 2006. Luekemia. He went to the doctor with a rash or something, then was dead within 2 weeks or so. He was another great character actor.
