Does anyone know if dentists can knock you out completely if you ask for it? I had a horrible experience in the chair a few years back and the thoughts of going to a dentist has me on the verge of panic attacks, I get really claustrophobic as well being in the chair so rather than go through that can I just ask to be knocked out with gas or injection or whatever it is they use? dont mind paying extra for it

I'm not sure if dentists use the phrase "general anesthetic", but they can put you at ease. You need to discuss your concerns with your dentist well before the day. There are various options, including things like valium.
