    did anyone notice in 28 days later the zombies could not go outside into the sunlight but in 28 weeks later they could?

    no.

    It happens more at night than in the second but there's nothing to say that they can't go out during the day.

    I did but when Brendan Gleeson was infected it was by a zombie which was in the open (dead on the barrier).
