    I took the first part of today off and went for 18 holes in South County this morning. I got to the 12th hole and spotted this....

    No idea how it got there or what the driver was doing (or not doing) to end up in the stream! It had to be towed out by a tractor.

    I have to admit that the course is in very good condition at the moment. Plenty of grass around, and the greens have recovered nicely from being pole-forked a few weeks ago. They're still not brilliant but definitely better than they have been during the summer.
