I'll be going to see Blues Brothers on the 29th September, The Thing on the 23rd October and Scarface on 9th October. And since i've never seen any of them, i can't wait.

Can anyone tell me if these films are usually sold out? Cause i'd rather not pay to go to see them (Unlimited Card).

I despair of this even as I ask it, but do you think there is even a remote possibility that people will take this opportunity to realise what an awful movie Scarface is? De Palma is surely the worst director ever to have fans, and Pacino's long descent into panto can probably be dated back to the stupid accent he adopts here.

(I'm aware that nobody agrees with me. Ah, so lonely being right.)

It is a silly film (and rther dated too if you watch it now) but like a lot of De Palma movies I think it's quite enoyable for being so over the top.

You gotta love Al Pacino though - Come on!!

This saturday & sunday 26th 27th September at the IFC Once upon a time in the West

This is definitely a movie suited to a big screen.

was at the last night showing in the Adelphi Cinema in the late 1990s where they showed the very first film screened there- High Society . It's great watching old films on a cinema screen- would be a great money spinner showing something like a spaghetti western series or films like Jaws that work really well on the big screen
