A GERMAN vitamin millionaire who believes the EU is run for the benefit of the pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries has called on Irish people to vote No. Irish Times article 22 October 2008.

Dr Matthias Rath, through the Dr Rath Health Foundation, is distributing a six-page leaflet to homes in Dublin which claims that a Yes vote will result in the militarisation of Europe and see Ireland turned into a police state.

Dr Rath also claims that corporate interests which financed the Nazis were engaging in a second attempt to control Europe through the EU.

He had attempted to have an advertisement published in Last years Irish Times on the subject but it was turned down because it did not conform to publication standards.

RTTH's has decided to do a little research into this matter and came across the following eye opener from Dr Rath.

The article highlights the birth place of the "Brussels EU" on the drawing boards of the Nazi/IG Farben-coalition for a post-war Europe under their control.

It is an excerpt of the speech by Dr. Rath on the occasion of receiving the "Relay of Life" award from survivors of the Auschwitz concentration camp.

    http://www.relay-of-life.org/speech/speech.html

He goes on to claim that all these measures that were recently drafted in by the EU Commission to fight terrorism will be used in setting up a totalitarian police controlled continent of which I well believe without going on any further.

"Under the pretext of fighting terrorism, the very same EU Commission has just issued a directive that will turn Europe into on “Orwellian continent”. According to this EU-directive, from now on all telephone numbers you will call, all Email addresses you will contact will be stored. And not only from you, but for 400 million people across Europe.

It is not hard to understand what these tools mean in the hands of those interest groups that have so often abused their power in the past
    ".

Ah, this ties in with the rise of the Fourth Reich! Been looking into this lately, it seems that documents have been found which prove the existence of a plot to create a Fourth Reich.

"A writer who was collecting material for a fictional book based around the premise that top Nazis, seeking to preserve their power at the end of the second world war, conspired to create a Fourth Reich under the auspices of the European Union, actually discovered documents proving the plot to be true"

Rath is a controversial figure. The Sunday Times (Johannesburg) has described him as an "international campaigner for the use of natural remedies" whose "theories on the treatment of cancer have been rejected by health authorities all over the world." On HIV/AIDS, Rath has disparaged the pharmaceutical industry and denounced antiretroviral medication as toxic and dangerous, while claiming that his vitamin pills could reverse the course of AIDS. As a result, Rath has been accused of "potentially endangering thousands of lives" in South Africa, a country with a massive AIDS epidemic where Rath was active in the mid-2000s.

Rath's claims and methods have been widely criticized by medical organizations, AIDS-activist groups, and the United Nations, among others. ]Former South African President Thabo Mbeki and former Minister of Health Manto Tshabalala-Msimang have also been criticized by the medical and AIDS-activist community for their perceived support for Rath's claims. According to doctors with Médecins Sans Frontières, the Treatment Action Campaign, a South African AIDS-activist group, and a former Rath colleague, unauthorized clinical trials run by Rath and his associates, using vitamins as therapy for HIV, resulted in deaths of some participants. In 2008, the Cape High Court found the trials unlawful, banned Rath and his foundation from conducting unauthorized clinical trials and from advertising their products, and instructed the South African Health Department to fully investigate Rath's vitamin trials. In 2008, Rath expanded his advertising to Russia, a country where the incidence of HIV/AIDS has been increasing.

What? Rath wanted people to take vitamin pills to reverse AIDS. That alone should make people take what he says with a pinch of salt. But the fact that he says HIS vitamin pills will reverse AIDS means he's exactly like the pharmaceutical companies he decries.

He even went off telling the poor that the real medicine was poison and used them as guinea pigs to test his theories. No wonder he's an "expert" on the Nazi's. He'd give Mengele a run for his money any day.

Yeah, the fact he's a "vitamin millionaire" saying the EU is run for the benefit of the pharmaceutical industry kind of means its hard to believe him. Saying vitamins can reverse AIDS destroys his credibility as far as I'm concerned.

And this is the same IG-Farben = Nazis stuff isn't it? Nonsense.

Could you link to a site or provide more information illustrating Rath's claims that "vitamins" cure AIDS. I suspect it's not as simplistic as you suggest. Wikipedia can't be trusted.
