2009 Appeals Results

    Hello everyone.

    Doesn't anyone know when the results of the leaving cert. appeals come out?

    I don't really care about the LC anymore, but it would be interesting anyway to find out how I really did!

    Err, not sure what you mean by that, did you submit an appeal?

    The results are scheduled for "Mid October" according to the SEC website.

    Yes, I did submit an appeal (I thought that was obvious! :D )

    Yeah I know it says 'mid-october', but I'm sceptical of how regularly examinations.ie is updated...

    I was just wondering if anyone knew the specific date.

    We got the provisional results back in August. After looking through my maths papers, I saw that I was only a few marks off the next grade, and that some things were marked questionably, so I submitted an appeal. But now that I'm starting college I don't really give a damn!

    I doubt if they have released the exact date as yet, until they're absolutely sure they can meet their own deadline. The number of appeals can vary a lot from year to year in individual subjects, so it's hard to plan it out exactly in advance.
