    Hey guys

    Sligo City Triathlon Club are running a fun Try Athlon on Sunday 18th October.

    The swim (250m, 10 lengths) in indoors in the regional sports complex pool.

    The 10km cycle takes in a scenic loop by the holy well and lake with the 4km run going up for two laps of the race course.

    Hoping to generate interest in the sport and raise the profile of the club and recruit new members.

    It's aimed at first timers and is so short that almost anyone can do it.

    We ran it last year and hard to turn people away since our limit was fifty places which we've extended to 75 this year.

    Places are filling up fast so don't hand about if you'd like to take part. email sligo.city.try@gmail.com if you'd like more information or forms.

    The cost is eu30 to enter and competitors get a t-shirt, finishers medal and swim hat. There is hot drinks and food afterwards and all that.
