    Have you tried askaboutmoney.com ?

mention anything about crooked property developers on that forum and you get banned for life , no free speech in that place

Try advfn.com and lse.co.uk, both have busy discussion forums. Need to be very wary about the motivation of posters though.

    Stockrants.com is quite good.

ADVN is the busiest for some stocks but not the most comprehensive and the design and usability is not to my liking.

HotStockMarket is the busiest with the most active posters.

    Motely fool

Be very careful with that forum. There have been an awful lot of blatant pump-and-dumpers pimping themselves over there.

    That forum:
There are penny stock threads and posters watchlist threads. A thread dedicated to any stock is usually fairly well balanced and obviously their are flame ups between investors protecting their money by attacking posters that try to undermine the stock. Call them bulls and bears, shorts and longs and/or pumpers and dumpers or simply buyers and sellers.

As for watchlists mostly they are reliable enough but pennystock and pinks watchlists can be very risky and you have to be prepared to jump in and out within a few minutes because AFAIK you cant use stop loss on pinks.

Other than this its great for a snapshot of what investors are following and hints and news on stocks like LLBO LFBG CPTC GTXO HTDS and many many other stocks that shoot up 400- 500% that you might not have heard of due to their obscurity.

Mods there seem to have lost the run of themselves and the forum is ruled with an iron fist and no humour or common-sense. Put me off visiting in the end.

    thanks for the heads up.......

i have noticed a few like that alright but i must admit i do find it quite useful.

just because someone suggests its a great time to buy/sell doesnt mean you should neglect to do your own research ;)

I browse tickerforum and greenenergyinvestors, sometimes trade2win and elitetrader, though I prefer respected blogs to get a view on things.
