every car has different intervals. Its usually based on age or a set mileage, whichever comes first. Should be in the handbook if you have it. What car is it?

i dont know the interval but someone here will. What engine is it? Every make has different intervals. There's not any real set pattern. Maybe do a search here and something will pop up

it depends . 70k i think if you servicing your own car. but if you buying second hand from dealer i dont think it be too much to ask them to change it at 50k. toyota did it for me.

Laguna is 72000 miles or 5 years, but I wouldn't leave it that long.
