    Could someone tell me if I done this question correct

    Gather Like terms and simplify

    3(2x+1)-(x^2 +2x+1)+3x-5
    3(2xX + 1)-(x^2+2xX+1)+3xX-5
    6x+1-x^2-2x+1+3x-5
    -x^2+9x-2x+2-5=
    -x^2+7x-3

    Its fine just noticed +3-6=-3

    But according to the work sheet I got in college
    The answer = -x^2 + 7x -3

    I just wasnt sure if I worked it out proper....
    are you certain the answer is -x^2 + 7x - 6 ??
