60g PS3 question

    Just bought a 2nd hand 60g PS3 which has BC.
    This is probably a dump question but can I loss BC by upgrading the firmware?
    eg the way upgrading the psp lost the ability to use homebrew, until custom firmware was used.

    Just another tip - not all PS2 games will work, you can check www.ps3comp.com to check how well a certain game runs. If it gets 3 stars or more it should work alright. Most games work fine though, and some even work better on the PS3 than the PS2.

    €200 kinda bought it by mistake ( i was watching a few on ebay to try and figure out a good price to pay made a best offer and it got accepted :rolleyes:)

    i have a 60gb ps3. how much could i expect to get from some moron, whoops, i mean enthusiast. :p seriously though, would it be worth selling or be easy to sell?

    Should be easy enough to sell - just flag that it is the original 60G with BC...
    Mine is still running strong :)
    But why would you ever ever ever want to sell it...

    I will trade you for a really rare Phat PS2, its basically the same as your 60gb PS3 but it has those limited edition and really useful memory card slots.
