CoD 4 & 5 PC - Lost Profiles

    Hi all,

    The hard drive in my PC failed a few weeks ago and as such I lost all my data including my L55\65 profiles for CoD4 and 5.

    I wasnt really bothered by it but I find it hard to get decent games of Nazi Zombies now due to them assuming im crap. Also in multiplayer games I have barely any weaps and im constantly accused of hacking (which is actually quite funny.)

    Anyway when I reinstalled CoD 5 and went to multiplayer it did actually have my profile name and I thought great! But of course when I went in it was all completely reset. :(

    So my question is, is there any way to either retrive my profiles from some server or some way to rank up the recreated ones? Ive already done it all myself so I wont be missing out on doing it right. Ive tried hooking up the old hard drive but its fooked.

    Any help appreciated. Thanks.

    If I'm not mistaking, player data is stored on the local machine (i.e. your HDD) so if your HDD is toast, so are your profiles... :(

    Figured that alright but like I said im cool with any alternative way to rank up. I just really dont have the time to do it all again.

    Failed... as in totally dead? Do you live near Leixlip, in Kildare?

    i work in Leixlip, could put my L55 COD4 profiles on a floppy for you, COD5 is at amature level though.

    Aye. Used to be in on the 1st floor of Building 8, but I got moved to Building 1. If you want, I can see can I get the files off your hard disk? Have an external caddy for IDE & SATA drives, and have one or two file recovery programs.

    Haha that would be sweet but I doubt you'll get anything. They were 2 10krpm 150gb raptors in raid btw. Em I'm also in building 1..

    Ah. Dunno. Will have to get back to you. Not sure if the program I use can retrieve from RAID. This being the RAID that both disks are mirrored, or both disks are seen as one disk, or what?

    Was seen as one 300gb disk.
