I know there is a similar thread but braces are not really an option for me.

I had my braces off 10 years ago (at 19) and like some other posters was not great at wearing my retainer. Althought most of my teeth are fine now the top front two have gone back to crossing a small bit.

Teeth are slightly stained also and I really can't stand them anymore so thinking of getting veneers on the top.

However I would probably need about 8/10 to even my smile and before I go making 50 consultations just to get prices can anyone give me a realistic figure or even a good dentist to go talk to?

Where are you based? The reason you go for a consultation is not to gather prices and pick the lowest, its to see if you need veneers in the first place, would bleaching do, is your bite suitable for veneers, do you have gum disease, tooth decay other dental issues, and a hundred other variables without which nobody can answer your question. So given all that I would say somewhere between 400 - 25000 euro depending on whats done and who does it. Anyone answering this will give you their experiance which unfortunatly may not translate to you....sorry for the vagueness but best to go for a consultation and find out what needs to be done first.
