Connecting Camcorder to Laptop

Hey I have a Sony Digital Camcorder and need to connect it to my computer to record off tapes.. My laptop doesnt have a Firewire port and the camera doesnt have USB...any suggestions? It does have other outputs but not sure how to connect them or if they just work to display the footage rather then be able to record

Hey
