drill command question

    Hey all,

I've got a question about Irish drill commands - I've been trying to identify the correct versions and pronunciations of the commands we use at scouts and there's one I can't figure out.

It's the command that tells the scouts to face right and put their right elbows up while in a line - the "noise" we've been making is something along the lines of "deas curamid" (obviously the 'deas' makes sense, haven't a clue what the other word is).

Does anyone know what it could be? I've looked at Irish army drill commands and found a few of the ones we use but not this one - the closest in terms of action is "right-dress" (Ó Dheis-Deasaíg) but from what I understand that's a different action altogether.

Thanks for any help in this,

    Adam

Hope this helps you ! As Far as I am aware "Dress Right" means to align yourself exactly with the person on your right . The raised elbow is used to approximate a regular spacing !
