Does anyone know any shops where you can get dessert wines from New Zealand? I don't think I have ever seen any in the shops, even though they would have a great variety of both dessert wines and wines from New Zealand. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be great. :)

On a similar note does anyone know where stocks Tokaji in Cork?

    Thanks :)

Don't know about NZ dessert wines - sounds interesting, though!
I'd try Bradley's on North Main St for Tokaji or Karwig's in Carrigaline have some listed.

I don't know who stocks them, but there are some sublime NZ stickies around. If you ask a decent wine merchant for them, they should try to source some for you.

Bubblebrothers in the English Market stock an ice wine (ish) from NZ. it's lovely.

NZ dessert wine is not the easiest to find. I think (as above) Joe Karwig has one or two, as have we - the Muddy Water Sugar Daddy (300g residual sugar per litre - pretty amazing stuff).

I brought back a Decanter Trophy winning dessert wine from NZ last year. It was the '07 Seifried. Absolutely incredible, but I don't think it's available in Ireland.

Anyway, you should be able to pick one up at a good wine merchants.
