Complaint regarding richersounds delivery and service

I had never bought anything from Richer Sounds before, but my friend recommended them and I ordered the same tv he got - a Panasonic 46 inch PZ81B, STG849 including 5 year warranty. My new tv was delivered by John McDonald of Richer Sounds yesterday. The delivery cost STG40 from Belfast. I was speaking to Kenny in Richer Sounds at lunchtime and he told me that delivery would be at 6.30pm.

At 6.25 pm John McDonald arrived at my front door in Wexford. He wheeled my new tv into my living room on his trolley. John took it out of the box and mounted it on it’s stand, and offered/took away the box. He helped me disconnect my old 32” JVC etc and dragged them out of the way. He helped me carry a tv stand from downstairs to put the Panasonic on. He offered to help carry the CRT upstairs. I told him that I was going to drop it to my brother in Dublin and he helped me put it into my car, except it wouldn’t fit..

John then offered to drop it to my brother during the week. After I picked up my jaw off the driveway I helped put the CRT into his jeep. I tried to pay him for this service but he refused.

So my complaint is why has no one told me about Richer Sounds before?! It's amazing how low your expectations go after dealing with sub-standard service over the years. My initial expectations consisted of the new tv being left in my living room and the delivery guy turning up at some stage yesterday. Wow is all I can say.

    PS. The TV is brilliant.

It's actually not fair how brilliant the richersounds gang are. They're literally steamrollering the opposition and I love it. When I check the prices at my old haunts now I just LOL. Maybe we should make it a spectator sport?

I hope to buy a telly off yis this weekend lads. :)
