Thoughts from the Commute

    • That new D.I.D Electrical ad with the German guy and the Dublin guy is ripped off from Count Duckula.

    • Does the guy giving out the Metro at the LUAS stop recognise the people who do and don't take the paper every morning or are we all just anonymous faces to him?

    • When did I start saying 'cheers' when I get my change back in the shop?

    • Surely all books are page-turners aren't they?

I think you should move closer to work.

If a laser was moving towards James Bonds face, and he managed to hold up a mirror to it, would the laser shatter the mirror and kill him? I mean, it probably depends on the strenth of the laser, but if it's a laser designed to kill James Bond, surely it would either cut through the mirror or heat it so much that the mirror shatters.

Worst part is I drive to work

I've never had that thought on the commute.

Bit of a silly question really. It's never too early to be drinking.

Now that depends. If its the weekend and you're still up at 10.30am thens its a bit late to be drinking. But if its a school day, then i'd see it as a bit early. Wouldnt you?

Ah I see the problem here. I'm not in school anymore.

Shouldn't you be in double Irish right now as opposed to on boards? :p

It's a long time since Anonoboy's been to school.

Besides, Anono, there are more important things to be considering while on the daily commute. The mysterious Jim Corr, for example. Or which hat you should wear tomorrow.

I wear the same hat everyday my good man and I believe you know that already. ;)

As for the mysterious Jim Corr - the man is a riddle wrapped in an enigma, wrapped in a layer of nutty nutty chocolate craziness.

Old worn out phrase is old and worn out.

Don't mind her Anono Boy. phasers has the disease known as "I'm too lazy too think of an idea for a thread so I'll just wait here til Anono Boy posts his and tell him that it's rubbish-itis"

Anyway, Pighead was on a commute last week to Galway and he overheard Amanda Brunker say "No I'm not fat, you see the camera adds ten pounds when you're on television" Pighead pondered this revelation and mused to himself "If this is true, does Ryan Tubridy actually exist?"

I don't commute over there but surely someone else from Dublin will come along and answer those, I heard there are other Dubliners here on boards somewhere.

I don't know when you started this, maybe in your teens?
    * Surely all books are page-turners aren't they?
    To be sure.
