Does anyone have the iphone app VNC mocha lite, the app allows you to view and control your mac through your iphone... It works a dream when i access it when i'm connect to my wifi using my internal ip 198..... but when i try and access it through 3g it doesn't work - i've used the ip thats displayed through www.whatsmyipaddress.com the port is usually defaulted at 5900... dunno what i'm doing wrong... any help appreciated.

I use it but only on the local LAN, haven't tried it outside network. Have you port forwarding enabled for the port 5900?

Might not be allowed over 3G.

You also need to set up your router to allow your connection through (configure your NAT). Most modern routers have a dynamic dns connection setup.
