    Hi Folks,
I am in the process of buying an 07 Quashqai 2.0 diesel from the UK and it has 62000 miles on it with full service history. It looks pristine on the web adds(naturally) and I am going over to view it on Monday. I will possibly pay a little over 12k euro for it. Are there any expensive services due around that time.....like timing belts ect. What gremlins have showed up in diesel Quashqais that I need to be wary of. This one has a panoramic roof and usual extras. I am VRT exempt so that makes it a little more attractive. I also have some difficulties due to a neurological condition, hence the need for bargain hunting. I do about 6000miles a year.......kids to school and back and little more, that kind of thing. Sorry for the vague details. Any reasonable replies a gratefully received and appreciated.

62,000 miles is savage for a two year old car - I would imaging something like this would be a much better buy. I would imagine that you would get it for E15,200. http://www.carzone.ie/search/Nissan/Qashqai/200937195202417/advert?channel=CARS

Thats petrol, the Op wants a diesel however I did sse a Quashqui sell for 16k in diesel last week. They are out there without going to the Uk having said that If you are VRT exempt, none of this matters.
Re;Service intervals, Ring any nissan dealer and simply ask.
Also, the was a recall on some Quashqui's and I'd make sure they were done.

if its 2007 you'll be on the old tax system which is 634 euro
    or there abouts.
not sure if this stands to 2008 model cars ,
you should check it out if its a car your keeping for a while you may aswell
save the xtra for a 2008 model . and get the 157euro tax..

just my thoughts anyway good luck buddy
my folks have one and love it
    well were.

just checked your 1st post VRT exempt
your might be exempt from tax 2 but a 2008 model will sell quicker
when you decide to change it
just thinking about the long run buddy
    if you do sell
