Crackling Noise

    I have a friend who is having trouble with the audio on his PS3

    He says he's hearing crackling noises and he uses HDMI.


    So far he's tried the following methods;

    Disabling Dolby Digital
    Changing HDMI cables
    Resetting his PS3

    all 3 which didnt fix the problem.

    His television is the exact same as mine

    He has a HD Ready 32" MIRAI DTL-832E600.

    I also play my PS3 through HDMI, just like him. But I've never had any crackling noises.

    Does anyone know how to fix this issue?


    (he doesnt have it hooked up to any sub woofer, amp or surround sound, comes through his tv speakers. if that helps)
