    Hardwire + fixed-line = hardline? :)

I mean as in wired up to your house and not a wireless mobile broadband.

looking to get a fast reliable connection that does not cost the world.

just wondering what people have and if they are happy with their supply

yeah i find their advice very ....... technical.

was just asking for what people in rush had. or even if they got a broadband and tv package or anything i will be willing to change. sure see what happens

Id say you will tell me..................................
I have just switched back to eircom from Perlico. I found Perlico good for a while but then absoulate muck.

The next message I post here will be via my new Eircom modem which arrived today. From what I can see Eircom are getting a lot of old customers back.

I'm hanging off the same telephone exchange but am based in Lusk.

If you are looking a fixed line there is going to be little choice in terms of service so I would shop around on price. There is a reason for this but it may be technical.

According to callcosts.ie your choices are:

    Homevision
    Smart
    UTV
    Imagine

    in that order.

I wont recommend as I will declare a conflict of interest

If I could install the modem anyone can. Just done. So Adios Perlico Hello Eircom.:):)
