PS3 Online problem?

The only game I ever really play online is FIFA 09, but I would say about 85% of the time when I'm in the searching for opponents menu it wont let me select a team or its just as if it wont let me or the other player pick a team and proceed to a match, does anyone know why this is?
My connection is usually full(ish), and its not that the online doesnt work because I have played online many times before but this problem seems to happen the majority of the time. Any help will be greatly appreciated, dont want to buy the new game with the same problem

Not trying to be a dick here, but you didn't look very far. Oh, welcome to Boards, honestly.
What is your NAT type? You can find this in your Network Status list. It should be NAT2. NAT 1 will work but NAT 3 will cause problems with certain games.
Who do you get your internet from? What router do you have?
