Friend is asking about some application he can use for searching his movie and music collection using keywords.

can anyone recommend anything for this?

All operating systems have an inbuilt search. If your looking for something more complicated just remember that your going to have to go around and attach keywords to each film independantly before that kind of search will work. It can be done with Windows Media Player though it's just very time consuming going back over all your media assigning keywords and genres.

I'm pretty sure I seen the ability to assign tags to media in Windows 7 but it doesn't seem to be on all media.
