Some people have said it here before they just bought the car, told Quinn this and they then insured it?

I had a Coupe 20v Turbo from new a few years back. Regardless of your age or record, many insurance companies won't cover it. However, I was with Hibernian at the time and they covered me. Said they wouldn't do it as new business but did as I was already with them.

At the end of the day, they are legally obliged to quote you so you can insist but will probably get a crazy quote.

€1,890 is steep for someone with a a full license and full no claims bonus. What age are you?

Quinn will insure you, just ring them up, have the reg ready and say you've bought it that you want a quote, just dont take any BS off them.

If they give you too high a quote say your gonna ring other companies and get back to them.

At 23 with 2 years ncb, €1,890 is not too bad. I was 33 with full ncb and paid IR£1,200 for my first insurance back in 1999. However, it did drop considerably the following year once I had no claims.

Great car. Fantastic performance for the money.
