What New Road bike to get for 600 -or anyone selling

    My mate is looking for a Road bike - he has just lost his job and has a max of 600 to spend on the bike

    He is 6'2 or so

    Can anyone advise anything in that price range

    Also he would be interested in buying a second hand bike

    Giant Defy 4 is 599 and is a basic start off bike
