Blackness on teeth

Silly question I know but I am starting to notice that some of my teeth around the bottom and edges are getting a kind of black stain on them. These are only appearing on the bottom teeth aswell. One what is this. Is it plaque? Is it easy to get rid off, e.g. will a standard cleaning get rid of it? Is there any other way…

One what is this. Is it plaque? Is it easy to get rid off, e.g. will a standard cleaning get rid of it? Is there any other way of getting it off as the normal toothpastes don't do anything. I brush at least once a day and use moothwash so a bit perplexed why this has happened so fast in the last few months.
