Anyone out there used this kit? It costs about 42 euro.
I have a big event mid Oct & want to get the teeth sparkling :D

If you used the kit, did you notice a difference? One of the reasons I want to get it is that it has the trays that can be moulded to your teeth & then I was thinking of getting the dental bleaching gel off the net & using that with those moulds.

You should order Chrest Whitestrips off the net. There stronger, safe, and do quite the job. They're ten day treatments, you might want to order two if you want them really white.

Thanks. Where's the best place to get these. You can PM (private message) me with details if you want as don't think supposed to be promoting websites on here, not sure.

Ebay is the best bet. You can't buy them in Ireland for some reason, think it's their strenght. Hence my assumption that the Boots kits are weaker. Buy them from a British based seller, the Irish based seller's seem to charge more. The premium ones seem to be the best bet.

I got whitestrips on ebay they're really good, pity you cant buy them here as they're a nice cheap alternative to the extortionate prices dentists charge for whitening

How safe are the strips to use? If they're stronger than anything sold over the counter here, is there any fear they will damage the enamel on your teeth? I'd love to try them out but bit worried at same time..

I've tried the Boots kit and the Crest strips. I much prefer the kit, and am getting better results than the strips. Maybe if you have even teeth, the strips stay on fine, but I find they slide off more often than not.

Well I ordered the crest whitestrips supreme & they're brilliant!

First off, I should have gone through Ebay as they are more reliable. I got them off a site masquerading as an English site but they are actually in New York. Took a good week to get them, no update saying my order came through, they arrived with no original packaging & no instructions! Also they had sold me a 14 day supply (2 sets of strips a day) but actually it was 1 set of strips a day  Needless to say he got an angry email.

Having said all that, they've worked really well & I've only done 4 days. I was with my dentist (4th yr student in dental hospital) getting a root canal & she recommended them to me as a cheaper way of whitening. She'd done it herself but had to stop after 3 or 4 days as teeth got too sensitive. She said that effects shouldn't wear off for a year & then when you top them up, won't take as long, maybe 2 days worth.

My teeth are quite straight so haven't had any problems keeping them on & don't get a taste of them in my mouth & can carry on with things while I have them in. No pain whatsoever which really surprises me as I normally have very sensitive teeth.

The other half's teeth are quite crooked with some bad stains so he's had trouble keeping them on & tucking them into the stained areas but his teeth do look brighter already after 3 days.

I definitely won't carry on past the 7 days as I think it would be too much after that & then I'll leave them for the year.

Anyway, they worked out well for me. Bear in mind I got the Crest whitestrips Supreme which are supposed to be stronger than most of the other ones, hence I definitely won't be over using them!

I bought 14 sets of strips for €46 (to do for 2 people). The Boots kit (for one person) is €42 so I'm glad I didn't go with that.
