    Hi folks,
Got a new BeOne Storm 2009 (full 105 standard double group) last week, bought from CRC and setup by my LBS. Took it for a test spin yesterday, rides perfectly except that the front mech is stuck - I can't shift from the large chainring. I shifted once from the small to large chainring (seemed to work fine), but I can't do the reverse.

The small lever on the shifter moves but doesn't click, big lever doesn't move much, cable is very tight. I've seen explanations on the net but most seem to be for old mucky parts or where the STI needs to be replaced .

Any quick fixes? The obvious thing is to bring it back to the LBS but I'd prefer a DIY job if possible, thanks.

It sounds like the cable has jammed in the lever itself.
Release the cable from the mech. then just pull out the black outer casing so that you can see into the lever. Its actually a pretty simple mechanism.
strt moving your lever as if you were changing gears and Just jiggle the cable until you hear the lever clicking. Then when it becomes free set it up from scratch.
    That or you local LBS.
Just a quick side note....are your able to pedal freely while its stuck on the big ring.

Thanks, I'm a bit wary about fiddling with it but seeing as it doesn't work then I might as well. Pedalling is fine, derailleur looks correctly positioned for the large chainring.
