Where to register car

I will be bringing in a car from Norn Iron tomorrow or Tuesday.
I will be registering it here.
I am just wondering if it makes any difference where i register it, e.g., do Dublin registered cars have a higher resale value than Kildare registered cars?
Also, my address in Leixlip, Co. Kildare. Does that mean that i will have to register it in Kildare, or can i register it anywhere?
    Thanks,

KE doesn't really have a lower resale value than D. don't worry about it.

Yu'll be stuck with a KE reg. Unless you have another address in a different county.

They will also look for your PPS number and that will give them you place of residence. I use relatives if I want a particular reg for a car and no problem
