Samsung N140 - Black or White?

    Hi,

    I can't decide between a black or white Samsung N140. I know, I know...colour is not all important in a notebook but I was wondering, does anyone have a white Samsung notebook?

    Is it metallic white? Or is it the same glossy white as the Apple Macbook? I am not a big fan of the Apple white laptop, but I was thinking metallic white might be nice. Don't like black at all. But if I have to, will get black.

    And yes, I'm female. :o Sorry, but colour does matter to me in a laptop.

    The NC10 white is pearl/metallic white if thats any help!If you can pick one up new for 329-349 Id go for it unless a slightly bigger finger pad is worth another 100++ to you ...These Samsungs are def the best netbooks!

    Cheers Ytareh. I think I will go for it. I hear the black ones pick u a lot of fingerprints thanks to it's glossy surface. The white ones don't show as much. And pearly white sounds fine ;)

    I'm looking for something that will be mobile and comfortable to use. It seems to fit the bill.

    Just as a matter of interest, where did you see it for that price? It's retailing at 369.99 on Elara. I thought that would have been the best price to have it.

    Hi,
    I am going for a Samsung N140 too, but not sure if black or white! And I fell the same, colour does matter for me!
    So far, I think Amazon has best prices, as you can get the N10 for 306 euro + shipping....

    My friend has the white one, and she thinks it's great. She didn't like the fingerprints on the black one, but now I am curious to know if the black one surface is glossy too.....
    Anyone?

    On my black n140 (thanks Elara :) ) the lid is glossy yep, the area around the touchpad is fairly matte.

    So far it seems grand, it's very cute ;) Fingerprints on the lid wouldn't bother me that much though!
