    i am a full time 1st year student in itb at the moment.
    i really need to know if the nurse..marie smyth,gives prescriptions?? or do only the doctors??
    plzz plzz answer my question asap if u can

    Doctors give prescriptions not nurses... whether in a G.P's, Hospital or College, they went to college for that sh*t yeah know.:D

    If you see the nurse on campus(no need to make an appointment) then she'll make an appointment for you to see the Doctor, in which case he/she (I think it's a she) will prescribe you a prescription.

    As said above nurses cant give out prescriptions afaik...

    Nurses can dispense medicine but not prescription drugs so depends on what you need

    As said by everyone where but i may as well say it again....

    Nurses can dispense medicine but not write a prescription.
