It did go ahead because I was reffing.

Great show some class fights, if someone has a copy of fightcard from anywhere I will probably be able to tell you who won.

Martin Begley defeated his Swiss Top team opponent with possibly the most vicious knee I have seen in a long time (well at least since kampman knocked me out with one ;) ) His opponent was out for around 4 mins but was thankfully ok and well looked after by the medical team and doctors.

Main event, Olav Belo beat Sami Berik by RNC in Round 1.

The two Point blank guys won as well.

Class Venue and lighting and now officially the best cage I have seen in this country a monstrous 30 footer. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend this show to other clubs in the future.

I was at the show and it was a really good set up.

I do think it was a wise move to bring Dave in as ref as he was well on the ball.

The knee was savage. I know we all go out meaning to do damage to our opponents but its bad when you see a guy go out like that. Hope he was OK after.

Carney looked good too against micky devlin. Was surpirsed he was able to finish him from guard. Thought he was more of a ground and pound specialist.

Dave Jones made himself unpopular with the local crowd by calling it down the middle, which is exactly what you want in a referee!

Cage was awesome, the fights weren't bad, crowd was small, probably down to the 40 euro price point. Not a bad show overall. I would wonder on the strategy of having a show at 40 euro half an hour and one day away from a show for 20 Sterling? If I hadn't fighters on the WQ2 card I probably wouldn't have gone over the ticket price, am I just too cheap?

    am I just too cheap?

    Yes Mark you are lol:cool:

Hav to agree I woz shocked at ticket price! Woz there any concessions??? For students etc... Maybe it was a lesson learnt in that a half empty crowd or packing a venue but at the end of the day it can be trail by error!!!!

Begley and Carney are great fighters (sometimes they can be underestimated but I rate them highly!!!) Unlucky Michael Devlin always believe you have a great future in the sport!

Wud hav loved to see the Berik v Belo good main event!

Dave Jones reffin is one of Irelands finest (mayb cud go as far as sayin UK also)!!! He is on the ball and a nice bloke at that!!!

Anyway good luck for future shows!!!
