    I'd imagine there was a fair amount of alcohol involved in said incident?? Are you sure you recall 100% what they said to you at the time?

    Might just be an adult caution. Sure give the guard a ring (try 10pm tonight... unless he was a kerry man) and have a chat with him now that you are sober, see what he says. Could end up saving a bit of hassle.
