Irish writers are gathering an international following in the field of literary thrillers and neo noir. Their work is fashinably linked with the neo-noir trend in the film industry.

I have just read "The Dark Fields" by Alan Glynn and can recommend it as a fast paced, imaginative roller-coaster in the techno-thriller genre.

Are there other books, in English or French, that fit this mould as I would like to read some more?
