I would like to get the opinion on this, preferably from somebody who works in recruiment or is in charge of staff in a company.

In all honesty, I don't think I will be able to get work experience relevant to my degree during the coming year. All I have now is a casual job that I can't rely upon anymore for support.

To counter this, I may be moving to Ukraine during next Summer, for a year or two. I'm due to start some small work for a few clients there, and hopefully take up a full time job related to my degree. People with degrees from EU or US get first preference in all professional jobs there.

The trouble is, however, that I'm from Ukraine myself, and I my referees at work may not speak English.

Is it a good strategy to use, or would employers here prefer me to work in more developed countries like Canada or Japan?
