Used to be an auld fella (Michael O'Hehir? Probably somebody else I'm confusing him with).
But to the modren viewer like myself Des has presented it for most of this decade iirc.
His' female sidekick has changed though. Usedta be Mary Kennedy but Grainne Seoige's got the gig this year & last at least. Can't remeber when she atarted so may be longer.

Good enough show. That thing with Paudie and Dinny Allen is kind of beaten to death the same way that the goal against Paddy Cullen is, but the segment was interesting enough all the same.

Des trying a bit to hard to be funny, but entertaining enough all the same

Earlier there was a boy Cork supporter and a girl Kerry supporter. Des asks the boy was he up for the match or to see Grainne. He says the match and Des congratulats him saying his head was in the right place. Seeing how gorgeous Grainne is tonight I wonder was this a Freudian slip by Des!

Original presenter was Liam O' Murchu who was a complete pain in the a**. Unfortunately he owned the programme and demanded to present it. Remember that horrible repeated phrase "Buaile Bas ...." all night.

Went seriously downhill after the Paudie/Dinny bit. .... The music that they has was truly awful and of no relevance to the show bar the connection that they had with the two counties. The kids doing the monologues are just embarrassing.

No a fan of her but Grá did look well in fairness, she must be spending a good bit of time in the gym

Had to leave the room when Healy Rae and the "comedienne" Lynch came on.Christ it must be a deep barrel they're scraping.
    Other than that watchable enough

That Lynch one was a Joke. Hopeless. Grainne was lovely looking tonight but I dont think she knows alot about GAA in general. At least Des played a bit of it.
