Yes, two tickets just cost me €200.10 including €6:35 booking fee.

The advertised price includes the booking fee. The additional charges are the service fees that the ticket agent charges to get yout ticket to you.

buying online or in most ticketmaster outlets they charge extra per ticket, which is crazy imo. if it was like €2 per order online i'd accept that but when you pay €6 extra per ticket for something that already costs €76, thats just taking advantage of the monopoly they have.

The only outlet I know for sure that dosnt charge extra is the stephens green centre one so i generally try and get my tickets from there

6 euros postage per ticket is bad enough, but charging that much for every ticket in an order is just taking the piss.

They charge up to €6.35 even if you print it out yourself.

Always check on www.tickets.ie to see if they have the gig, usually only small venues are on it. They charge the €1 to post it out or nothing for box office collection, while ticketmaster charge €6.35 for box office collection.

So a small company (with out TM's economies of scale etc) can still obviously make a reasonable profit charging €6.35 LESS. Its a f*cking joke....

I expect the majority of tickets are sold in at least pairs, so make that €12.70 more per transaction that TM take, above and beyond a reasonable profit.

Do they charge this fee if you buy them at a ticketmaster kiosk?

Going to a gig in the village on Friday and TM are charging 2quid on a 15euro ticket

the fee at the Kiosks is usually smaller, and at the Stephen's Green Kiosk there is often no fee, though I think it depends on the venue.

I think so, I always used mine anyway. You also get a different style ticket (if you collect them like me it might be of interest), and you can get messages printed on them.

To get no charge you must pay cash at that kiosk, otherwise with C/C I think they charge the same as any other outlet, e.g. HMV, soundcellar etc, which I think is €2. HMV etc will still charge you if you pay by CC

The village would be a typical small venue that could be on www.tickets.ie
