    Hi everyone

We are holding a one day pre-selection for the IASI Level 1 Ski Instructor award. The date is Saturday 10th October 2009 and it be being held at the Ski Club of Ireland in Kilternan. The cost is €125.

To do this you must first of all join IASI as an associate member. After this you can apply for training and assessment courses to qualify as an IASI Level 1 instructor. The courses to gain the full Level 1 award are listed below:

    1. Level 1 Pre-Selection - One day - 10th Oct 2009

    2. Level 1 Training (three full days all of which are compulsory) - runs end of October 2009

    3. Level 1 Assessment (three full days all of which are compulsory) - runs end of May 2010

All dates for the training & assessment are on our website but you must attend a pre-selection before booking a training course.

The Level 1 qualification is our entry level award and would certify you to teach on dry slopes or in snowdomes, it does not qualify you to work on snow.
