New to the forum and I'd like to get some of your opinions.

Looking for a new HDTV, a 37'' is the size I'm looking at. I'm a bit loyal to Sammy as I've had a Series 2 26'' HDTV for the past 4 years but not its time to upgrade for me.

I don't know where does the best deals, when I got my old HDTV I managed to get €100 off in HM with a bit of price match haggling.

    I have been on Komplett, I know:o

    B530 €587

    B650 €807

    B651 €757 ??? why cheaper.

    B653 €787 again why cheaper than the 650 ??

    In Powercity

    B530 €580, cheaper than komplett

B550 A5W €702, this seem to be a good deal but I can't tell why.

I'll be mainly using it for gaming, X360 and PS3 blurays etc.

I'm finding to hard to see the differences that justify the price variables except some of these HDTVs support 100Hz.

Could someone help steer me in the right direction, thanks.

AFAIK the le37b650 supports Divx via usb

the le37B550 will support Divx (after a firmware upgrade /hack)
    Google "B550 divx"

and the 37B530 does not have usb( if it has it will not support DIvx etc).

thats as much as I know as im interested in the 32" version. and the lack of divx support on the B530 counts this model out for me.

the b651,652 i have no idea.. althouh in the uk they can have slightly different model number depending on where they are sold. ie dixons or currys.

    hope this helps

Yeah, I've been doing a bit more research looking at UK and US forums.

The B530 is out for me aswell. It's down to the B550 or B650, just looking for the best deals.

The only difference I can now tell between the 650, 651, 652 etc is the external finish. There is crystal black, crystal red tint and rose tint. The ones with the tints are cheaper oddly enough, not fond of the look myself over the standard finish.
