Now, I understand he has been interviewed on the show before
and many of his views about Atheism were expressed, but I was
a little surprised to see the number of hands for God.

I presume the majority of people who sat there are rational, intelligent
human beings. The argument about the easter bunny summed the god
    thing up fairly well.

My questions to the AH populace:

    1) Why do you feel the need to believe in god(s)?
    2) If you do believe in god, it is because of hard thinking, or
because yore ma puts "Roman Catholic" on the census forms?

I think most Irish people don't really have a strong belief
in god. They say they do, but they don't really. Maybe the
belief in god is a conformity thing? Any thoughts?
